UX PROBLEM

iOS Notification Center

SO WHATS THE ISSUE?

The current notification center is currently showing the latest news in chronicle order.

How it works now makes sense but sometimes some apps like “YNET” are a bit spammy and it’s just filling up the screen with a lot of none related news, which makes me feel like I’m lost and it just makes me want to make this screen disappear ASAP.

which eventually results in missing out some of the really important stuff.

SO WHAT I THOUGHT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT?

I BELIVE WE CAN IMPROVE WITH SOME SORTING UI ELEMENTS

Since it’s does make sense how it is now, that it’s arranged simply by chronicle order, and don’t think need too make too much of a big change since most people are already used to this kind of screen and how it works, I believe that if we had some sorting and filters UI elements it can really improve the experience for this screen, and will make it more useful and friendly.

WHY DO WE NEED SUCH LONG SCREEN WITH ALL THE DATES?

If really want to check what I’ve missed on some other dates, instead of using really long scrolling I believe that it will be much better if we could easily pick the desired one.

Check the notifications on your favorites apps

On single click you can choose to view only the apps you care about.

AND WHAT IF I WANT TO SEE ALL THE NOTIFICATIONS FOR ONE APP?

On default When we slide to the right we are getting some nice options for quick reply and removing, why not to add some more button that will show us all the notifications we want for a specific app easily?

so why have I done this?

I’ve decided to explore this subject cause I’m really an apple fan since iPhone 3 came out, and I’ve always been frustrated from this specific screen.

and I believe we can easily make it just a bit friendlier and useful.

THANK YOU!
